Williamson County will have new voting machines when voters head to the polls this fall! These new machines include touch screen technology with fonts that can be scaled up and down for easier readability when marking your ballot. Voters will mark their ballots, review them, and them scan them in to the scanners for tabulation. Those paper ballots will then be held onto as a verifiable paper back-up. For more information about the new machines or to find an open house where you can view and try out the new machines, please visit the Williamson County Election Department’s website.

Current public demonstrations are scheduled to be held at the Williamson County Elections Office at 301 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown at the following dates and times, with additional options possible:

Tuesday, October 1: 12:30pm-1:30pm and 4:30pm-5:30pm

Tuesday, October 8: 12:30pm-1:30pm

Tuesday, October 15: 12:30pm-1:30pm
