[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Democratic Primary Runoff results are in and our Democratic slate of nominees for November is now complete. Starting at the top of our ticket with Presidential Nominee Joe Biden all the way down to the bottom to our candidates for Constable, our nominees will be working hard to share their messages with Williamson County voters and bring more needed change to Williamson County.

Congratulations to our Democratic nominees M.J. Hegar – U.S. Senate, Donna Imam – US Rep, District 31, and Chrysta Castañeda – Railroad Commissioner. A special thanks to State Senator Royce West, Dr. Christine Eady Mann, and Robert R. “Beto” Alonzo for stepping up and running on issues crucial to Texas families.

As with all races within the Democratic Party, passions ran deep. In spite of the COVID-19 outbreak changing political outreach as we knew it, our candidates persevered and ran robust campaigns during the protracted primary runoff cycle. Supporters of all of our candidates worked tirelessly and emotionally invested themselves in their candidates of choice. It is imperative that this passion is now focused on moving forward to November. It will take a united effort if we are to be successful and defeat Trump Republicans on 11.03.20.

As we begin the campaign to change Williamson County, the state of Texas, and our country, we recall the words of Ted Kennedy: “What divides us pales in comparison to what unites us.”
